Do you smell smoke?

After languishing for … longer than I like to admit… another two projects are out the door. If you’d like such a bowl or cup, you’ll either have to visit a particular gallery in Branson MO or order your thing through this site. Though I warn ya- these vessels are crazy pricey. The ones you see here aren’t even finished. Imagine them so shiny that you can see what sort of light fixture is turned to it by its reflection on the polished surface.

I thought of doing a dragon on the flagon rather than the horse. What do you think? Should I have chosen reptile over mammal?

I posted the still frame of Chad coming off his skateboard the other day, but I forgot to post this for you- the video of a perfectly good run gone silly only fifteen seconds in. The music (what there is of it) is Nine Inch Nails. Chad, being who he is, walked away unharmed and tried again. I’m gonna go get you guys a bunch of shots like this and try to string ’em together into a real video.

I bought one of the skate decks that I put in the Outdoor Galore Store zazzle site (click on the OGS logo over on the left if you want to know about that) and I was going to keep it all nice and neat for display at conventions and stuff next year.

But I couldn’t stand it. So I took off the plain silver trucks with the plain, clean white wheels.

And I went to Midtown Skate Shop and asked them for the most garish good gear I could afford on there.

And now I have a new toy. Here’s some photos before I learn enough tricks to tear it up. I can only roll in, do some fairly pretty kick turns, and whatever combinations you can make from that. When I can drop in, and do some grinds or something, I imagine the board will look the worse for wear. At the moment, aside from the very ends of the tails and some chipping here and there from wipeouts, it still looks sharp. Good job, zazzle.
