I need to do better about Lin Saturdays. He’s graciously provided several comics but I’m not in the habit of putting them up on Saturdays. Yet. Want to have an ample supply of HAVE GEEK, WILL TRAVEL? click on over there and check ’em out!
Comic
The title sounds like an old Pogo comic, and the dialogue sounds like an old B.C. comic.
I must be old or something.
Y’know, because I know that Pogo and B.C. were comic strips.
The fact that I know the tone of the writing in both of them is because I’m a professional, dang it.
There’s a certain Zen in being one of US.
Like in the famous old movie…
“Freaks.” You know… “One of Us, One of Us, One of Us…”
I admit, I have no idea if anyone has invented a BMX Mosh Pit. It may be a thing already, and Paste is just a johnny-come-lately.
On the other hand… Paste would definitely come up with such a thing on his own, given a crowd and a minute to think about it.
I don’t know if I’ve ever done a real “to be continued” cartoon before.
You guys probably know.
By the way- a giant stack of Patron Goodies went out last week. I’m finally catching up on the long overdue stuff I should have sent ages ago.
That means, for all the newer Patrons- you get a little extra stuff.
And for all the long term Patrons… you get more stuff. I hope you don’t already have the things already.
Next up, I’m finally going to have the ‘Team Hubris” embroidered patches made. We should all have patches, don’t you think?
Every so often, it’s good to have a character express his humanity- to take a moment to be vulnerable and be able to admit it.
If you know people like Paste, you know they only do that when they’re yanking your chain. The unexamined life might, according to old wisdom, not be worth living… but it can certainly have a place in the comics.
Some people get towed behind motor boats on inner tubes. I’ve seen ’em at it.
They tend to disappear in a giant spray of water and a sharp scream, rapidly cut off.
I haven’t tried it myself.
…For the reasons stated.
- I don’t know why this loaded late. I set it up last week. Sigh.
