That’s right. Winning isn’t everything… No, wait. You said winning isn’t… Ah. Well, at least that paycheck makes it all worthwhile. Right? Right? Hello?

If Lowell weren’t so worried about one-upping folks, his life would be soooo much better.
Well, at least that paycheck makes it all worthwhile. Right?
Well Greg, does it???
I’m certainly not the one to ask. When I figure out how to make this site pay, I’ll give ya an answer. The ‘worthwhile’ part of Hubris is still the sheer fun.
Greg make it pay, the same way I get paid by Google AdSense, at least $120/mth … start posting animated clips of Hubris on Youtube + monitize it.
Also, put some “Adsense” ads on here – nothing fancy, just the plain text ones. Of course … I don’t see ad’s normally but … you know. 😀
Good advice. I’m on it.
in other words the only payment lowel is getting is not only losing his dignity but being a good worker for sports mart by doing this stuff and hope management is happy.
Uh Greg … you seriously gonna AdSense your page?!
I’ve considered it. Mostlly, I’ve thought of doing AdSense ads for Hubris to see if that’d bring in more readers. I had a $100 freebee card around here somewhere. It’s probably expired, but they turn up in the mail occasionally.
.
Why do you ask?
Greg, I am up for anything you have to do to make an income. If I have to wade through ads, I will do so. Hubris and the Buckets rock! (yes, there are a number of people who will be getting a “comic” book for christmas this year from me…)
Cuz I’ve done it myself, and it doesn’t cost a cent. 😀
I’ve got 18 videos on Youtube with AdSense, and I have 2 adds on my iamallan.com website. 😀
I’m talking about placing simple ad banners on Hubris.
Right. It’s not AdSense, but there’s a new sponsor here at Hubris! They’ve got a nice blue button over there on the right.
So, Allan… what exactly do you advise? And talk slow. I’m an idiot, as I learned when I tried to put that blue button on the site just now. James the Webmaster had to fix a lot of stuff I scrambled.
There’s also a link to the Hubris book for those of you doing your early Christmas Shoppin’.
