hubris should be happy at least pastre made some money off of the whole thing even if a little bit of that better go for a new pair of pants for paste. plus at least crazy dog lady was not chasing some one.
It amazes me the number of people who won’t take back their broken what-have-you (hard drive, screen, whole laptop, phone, or tablet) back. How do you know I did anything if I don’t give you the old part? As for whole machines, while I get that they don’t want to pay the recycling fee, neither do I and it’s not included in the price of the repair. There’s a whole other class of people who think if you can’t fix it, they owe you nothing. Their doctors must love them as much as I do.
Or take a less than stellar when it came out system that is 13 years old, running Windows XP and limping because it’s maxed out, and think that 15 minutes and $5 you can spiff it up to run Windows 7 or 8 … and the harddrive full of grandchildren pictures with no backup bought it and it’s going to take data recovery in a place that can open the drive and spin the platters in a clean room as no way are you going to find another one to attempt a transplant. And they pay you with a check and stop payment on it 15 min after you leave because they’re hopping mad that the $ they invested back then is past magic wand time to work. I do not fix computers, whoever told you that is drinking/toking something good… I can’t help it your kids and grandkids will no longer talk to you because of your boat anchor that plugs in the wall and won’t turn on. You need a power cord replacement-quit calling me all day and night and leaving me whinebitch messages. (yes I feel for you James)
All those lawyer types are rubbing off on Paste. Oh dear.
Hubris: “$100 will cover 4 large pizzas with everything, plus 2-liter bottles of Coke, if you want dinner tonight.”
But he needs new pants.
2 words: “Kayak skirts”.
Oh, the memories. 😀
‘Precious Memories, how they linger’… (and are etched behind your eyes where you can’t unsee them)
Thank you very much I had almost managed to forget that
… I’m still in shock that PASTE of all people managed to turn a profit on this whole debacle.
It should also pay for a nice “No Dogs Allowed” sign. Besides, did anyone like her to begin with?
