Ever been out in the woods late and you look around into the bushes and see little green glows? I can tell you, it makes you stop and have long conversations about whether green reflections or red reflections are carnivores. Lots to discuss all of a sudden when it’s an hour hike back to the road and you count fifty seven li’l green glows.
They are with Lowell, (Kara and Hubris) so they will be safe. Just as long as Lowell stays on this side of the sanity line…
does he EVER VISIT sanity sincerely? its Lowell we are talking about after all.
It’s the clumsy ones you have to be careful about. They never make clean kills. One-eyed kings.
Right next to our house there is a giant field, when you come back at night as you turn in car you can see ALL THOSE glowing eyes, like a field of yellow lights, from the rabbits staring at you.
but yeah Lowell delusional as always. even if ONE of his many bubbles been burst by what his “evil lord” are planning to do. and it’s pretty much what many old fart evil lords ever do anyway.
plunder their own ship then leave.
You mean you didn’t draw that starry field *by hand*?!?
(Nevermind that man behind the curtains!)
Yeah, I noticed the star field, too. And the zoom-in from the first panel to the last. Love those little Easter eggs, but only the most thoughtful cartoonist provide them.
This cartoon….is awesome.
what hubris and kara will do is continue to enjoy their venture and try to not get involved in what ever new plot lowel is trying to cook up till they have no choice they are part of it
Gotta love how Lowell magically makes his cause out to be Hubris’s as well, and any protestations the matter may make makes no never mind. We saw this in action shortly before Lowell returned to SportSmart and was still hellbent on revenge against them.
Now, having returned to the fold, things have changed, yet not really. A development that Lowell hadn’t anticipated — the machinations of the SportSmart big kahunas — has thrown him for a loop. So once more he aligns himself — if only in his mind — with Team Hubris. That he had previously spent so much time unabashedly declaring his intention to bring down Team Hubris never seems to dawn on him.
But that’s classic Lowell, isn’t it? Though he is capable of occasional flashes of insight and self-reflection, most of the time he bypasses B and instead leaps from A straight to C.
