They’re not on the street during the “Lowell song”, so the Lowell song has no cred.

Well that just sounds like flare holding Paste (remember his zipline performance at the opening of the Outdoorfest?) is going to cook up something…. Poor Hubris.

Happy Buzzard Day to all the US fans… right now many people are prepping turkeys to go in the oven tomorrow, and a lot of calories are going to be consumed. I am going to the volunteer thanksgiving feed tomorrow and help dish out and swish-a-dish for those that need some company and a good meal…. my supper will taste that much better!

I don’t know about street cred, but getting locked up for a spell does change you. You hear stories. You empathize with people you never thought would deserve empathy. Respect for authority declines. Any sense that the police care about right and wrong, law and order goes right out the window. They’ll lie to look good. They’ll lie because it sounds good. They’ll lie because it’s whats expected of them. They’ll lie to increase their department’s budget so they can get a raise or a new doohickey. Since you often end up losing everything you owned, selfishness increases. Your willingness to conform altruistically to social norms and petty laws declines precipitously. You’ll use the #-item or fewer lane in the grocery store with a full cart. “Call the cops on me lady. Ban me from the store. I’ve done time. I’ll do more. I don’t care. I’ll turn this is into $&#%* World War III if you don’t leave me alone.” Oh yes, a lot changes.
