Here’s another cartoon where I feel like I should apologize for the wordiness… but you didn’t want me spreading all this over three or four days to cut down on the amount of dialogue in any given panel, did you? No you didn’t. So you’ll just have to do the reading.
You did just FINE, Greg.
Popping the skirt… must have been hummus in the lunch (chickpeas/aka garbanzo’s). Hm…
Hubris also had time on that run to sort out who to chase what and dispersed them masterfully to chase their own… ends. Heh.
Hubris knows what to say when he says it.
Paste’s been there and done that.
Now, release the poison hounds of war!
to me the “Wordiness” IS PERFECT. it shows that he is taking control of them all while getting them out of his hairs.
concerning the comic. I JUST LOVE how he pretty much puts them all back in place as “you want me to do another one, IT WILL BE MY WAY. NOW SCRAM MINIONS!” hehe
I barely want to imagine what kind of CLOUD will come out once he pops the skirt I swear, even more, if it’s something like my dad’s kind.
EWWWW
That’s some top-notch skull-duggery. The fest will go on even if some heads explode.
Wordiness is good. It gives time for the gas to er expand.
Paste’ll need to get a gas mask before he helps Hubris out of the kayak.
Greg – your comic, you decide how to do it.
Hey Folks … please click my name and help me out. In a bit of a pickle this month, and negative balance (meaning no food… ) thanks.
not only will hubris lose his shirt but the kayak will become a missile if paste does not get out the way
Ah, it’s fine. Worth it, in fact, for the punch line. 😉
Reminds me of when Hubris was once similarly under siege, yet had it (mostly) under control, displaying a demeanor that bordered on Bob-like:

The difference was that Hubris only had to utter each of their names, and they magically knew what to do. (Again, mostly; Nikki had a bit of trouble with a honked-off Kara.) Here he has to issue detailed instructions to everyone. But then, he’s not dealing with just the typical routine workaday insanity, but the upcoming outrage… er, outdoorfest.
In other news, there’s something that I’ve noticed before yet never mentioned, and since it’s come up again, I may as well ask: Is it Wiggens-Ross, or Wiggins-Ross?
It’s officially (I’m official, right?) Wiggins-Ross, but at some point, I misspelled it in the tags for sure, and possibly in the strip somewhere. It’s also possible that the misspelling entered the system while I was listening to the audiobook of ‘Ender’s Game’.
If anyone would like to put together a guess as to the origins of the name Wiggins-Ross, I’m perfectly willing to listen and then be baffled by how correct you are without even a clue as to how you worked it out. That’s how things usually go around here.
Did you get the Wiggins part from the old Carol Burnett show?
I’m a big Tim Conway fan.
