Seems fitting to take a minute to thank everyone for supporting Hubris, whether by reading it or doing even more- sharing links to the site on social media, telling a friend to check out the site, clicking on the ads, clicking on the Vote Hubris button, donating at the ‘You & Hubris’ button, being a Patreon patron, or buying a book. Thanks, everyone! All that stuff is really helpful in keeping Hubris afloat.
And I should welcome the two new Patrons that joined up last month, which means that this month, Patreon says I get to send you your goodies.
So, again, thanks for reading, clicking, sharing, telling, tip-jarring, patronning, buying, voting and anything else you do. Like commenting. That’s fun, too. Do that.
Lowell just has farther to fall now. It ought to be spectacular.
I did introduce another reader to Hubris today. A young fellow that knew my spouse stopped as we were having a soda at the convenience store to talk to him. I noticed he had a Darth Vader-in-a-kayak graphic on his tee and called up the strip and found the one where I’m in a kayak and showed it to him. I bet he’s still on a read tonight. 🙂 Corrupting everyone! Heh.
and now it’s back on the ol’ song i guess
oh well never really was one to expect lowell would REALLY change sincerely hehe
Your’re sending US goodies? This is just like a pyramid club!!
So, he really is Darth Dingleberry after all. Raised to power, his goal is now to destroy everything that is not him. How sad. Sorta like today’s politics.
and back to business again for its only a matter of time before lowel will wind up wanting hubris help in destroying sportsmart.
HI EVERYBODY!
I wish I could say that this surprised me, but this is exactly what I feared would happen. Now that SportSmart has welcomed Lowell back with open tentacles, he has forgotten that he ever sought revenge against them — seems to have forgotten EVERYTHING that he (might have) learned from his sojourn in the wilderness.
Though I’ve stated previously that Lowell is capable of self-awareness, it doesn’t seem to have survived his reversion to the old patterns of thought and behavior that can only presage trouble. Yes, he may be movin’ on up right now, but that just sets him up for an even longer and harder fall.
As for his latest look — oy. Here he looks more like Darth Dork than Darth Daemos (Paste would agree). It actually makes me long for his “weird soccor-dad” getup that some (or was it many? most?) found both risible and repulsive.
