Playa here is a clay bottomed flat that will fill up in a massive hurry with a rain and flood a road. We have a few of them between us and the next town that are 2-4 miles of possible sudden flash flooding.
Playa can also mean the scumslime that think they’re so cool especially with the other sex and you wish you could drop them down the manhole and put the lid back on sometimes. I think Paste meant the second…
Kelly had a dose of his own reality not Reality TV. Poetic!
you can sum up “playa” as a player basically and not gamer.
it’s only a different pronunciation of the same word to sound more street. like the stuff “yah knaw that yah didn’ mean’ it sugah” and stuff like that.
Two story lines possibly squashed here. Kelly’s epic goes nowhere, and Nikki goes ‘big sister’ on Paste. Nikki has more depth than I thought. I suspect Greg is getting advice from a grownup somewhere, maybe his wife.
I’m guessing Nikki merely tolerates Paste and is merely curious about the pump park, hoping it’s cool. Kelly & Dusty both need to breathe deep & relax. Still trying to figure out the teal & purple hair on Nikki.
and the only one who comes out scoring is paste . poor nickie hope she makes paste eat some of his dirt with her skills. as for kelly looks like he will have to do an interview with lowel who no doubt has cleaned up now
I bet Greg has the notice on his phone already set, and the alarm to roll out to hit the highspots, strap the bike on the carrier and get there to get in line for open. Heh. Wear your gopro, Greg!
Speaking of “corporate villain,” I’ve been champing at the bit to see what’s been going on at Sportsmart for more than a week now. Seems like we’re due to peek in and see what’s developing, if the fit hasn’t already hit the shan. Will it be a big enough story to bring in the cops (and maybe meet Lurlene!), not to mention the Channel 7 news crew?
And what about Cthula and Dub? Are they still on the loose, or were they recaptured and we just haven’t seen it? They generate more than enough strife individually, but together… Not to say that they’ll be involved in the next eruption, but I’m sure we haven’t seen the last of them. At least, I’m sure Cthula will return eventually. She’s too zany NOT to.
I usually don’t try to make predictions, not being very good at it. Yes, it can be satisfying whenever they come true, but on the whole, I would rather be surprised. Besides, if you were able to predict unerringly how a story would turn out, all the time, every time, you would lose a lot of the fun and suspense of not being quite sure what’s about to come around the corner and smack into you.

gotta love how “one friend” is only thinking about his interest and not how it would hurt hubris’ shop to have to be trashed again.
and seems paste is going FULLY on what we all expected in the last page…even what the miss is expecting at that point…
hubris keep your eyes open man…

Nikki goes for a boy with a pump park.
Lass has class.
Should Nikki be one of the tags? Love how she is dealing with Paste!

Betcha Lowell hasn’t mowed yet. And Lowell has a vatload on Sportsmart and can BURY Mal without trying. Kelly will get his expose after all…
I see that Memphis has a pump track via Bikesmith. I figure Greg spends some time there ‘doing research’, especially since they also serve craft beer.
It opens in a week. I have it on my calendar.
And counting the minutes?
