I don’t think the military could handle the likes of Paste. He’s rather already an army of one (mayhem and utter destruction while you wait) hehehe

I’ve never seen one of those tees uncompress that easily… I’ll call it dramatic and artistic license on behalf of Greg….

I agree, for the most part, but not the US Marines.

The marines are ‘when it absolutely positively has to be destroyed overnight’ and they’re professionals.

Paste, is a random roving pinball, where he lands and what goes crashtinklethunk, only the fates have an idea….

I do think Paste could teach Mr. Biner fear is not always an option.

You must remember the Marines make professionals. They have been doing it for over 200 years and are exceedingly good at it.

Exactly. Marines are pros. D*mn*d good pros. Paste is…. um, hide.

Paste: “And I already said you can keep the shirt! Man, now I have to re-wrap it an’ everything. Geez. Old people have no sense of courtesy.”

paste would be the first person the military told please leave for the sake of safety . looks like mr. binder can now add paste to his bad list.

What happened? The forward button stopped working! Did Paste mess around with the website, or something? Or maybe Lowell, in an attempt to discredit Hubris?

OH, wait: I’ve reached the current one. DARN!

Oh well. It was an enjoyable archive trawl. I don’t promise to read every day, but I will definitely come back.

I’m proud and impressed that you trawled! Next new one’s on Friday. See you then!

You know what? I couldn’t remember just how much I had read in my first go, however far back it was (it was enough to know I wanted to bookmark it, but I had run out of time and had to do other stuff). So just now, I re-read from the start to where I remember reading from when I trawled the archive, this week. So I can now say I have read all the archives this week. I have come full circle.

        Yay. It was worth it!

Awesome! I went and checked that analytics page. You plowed through 500 comics, apparently in one sitting. That might qualify as an overdose. Keep your doctor on the speed-dial.

Are you sure it was in one sitting? I just kept the tab open, and came back to it often… Would that make it look like one sitting?

I didn’t realize I went through so many Hubris comics this week…

Yeah, I have no way to tell if it was one sitting. I assume that once anyone wanders off for a sandwich, they’re gone for the day. How about “you read FIVE HUNDRED comic strips without turning off your computer, and Google analytics knows it.” That might be creepy or something, but the 500 page views is impressive whether you went to the fridge in the middle or not. Google didn’t say what else you were up to. Though it does report that you kept the tab open for over two hours. That should have told me that you’d gone away for a bit… or that you read very, very carefully.

Over two hours indeed… My browser history shows 4 separate days during which I read through the archive… Sept 14 to 17. And I did go to work, during that time span…

Ah, yes, well… The great and mysterious Google/Skynet tracks our lives in 24 hour snippets. The only time your activity was distinguishable as signal out of the general noise was the one day that you showed up as the single person coming to Hubriscomics as a Google/referral, and you read 500 of the 650-someodd Hubris pages in that span. If someone else had been classified as a Google/referral that day, and he or she had only read one strip, then Google analytics would have identified you as one of the people who read an average of 250 strips in that 24 hour period.

It’s all so Sherlock Holmes-y, trying to work out stuff on Google analytics. Regardless, I’m awfully glad you found the site and that you enjoy the strips enough to plow through ’em!
