Aaaand now you know what 412 means.
Don’t you?
I can never tell. You guys are so good at following the little fiddly clues I hand out and guessing what the next thing that’ll happen is, I sometimes get vague, thinking you’ll follow along anyhow.

I don’t find this strange at all. Try writing a grant. Try fighting medical claims. Insurance, ptui!
Hubris needs to do some sort of return delivery that guarantees that the place has to sign for it so he has proof it got there. That’s all I can advise. Else I start billing by the quarter hour, minimum two hours.
Have you signed a contract over 100 pages long?
Yes. I measured the bleeper by the inches thick.
Government or private?
Both. Gov’t was a little thicker.
I was close. I figured that 412 was the form number, rather than the number of pages of the form. Regardless, I was right in that Lowell has already filled this form out for BS-C, and knows what’s involve in completing it. He may be useful in Hubris’ getting it finished in time for the deadline tomorrow.
Wouldn’t have guessed it. Private companies that do non million dollar deals, have short contracts, saves on costs and makes deals quicker.
Companies that do huge contracts almost always do it to sue, that’s why you never, ever sign huge contracts unless you absolutely have to. And even then only at the last resort or absolutely stupid.
“412”
The answer to the question of life, the universe and everything.
If you step over to the universe two doors down.
And you forget your towel.
And you put a one in the middle.
Shut up Lowell! Shut up Wesley!
Ooooh, I need a character named Wesley just so I can use that line.
great now lowel is camping out in the store. if he wants to usefull he can fill out the form for hubris.
So it isn’t the 412th Hubris comic? Yeah, there’s probably lots more, and hopefully more to come.
The archive says there’s 734, but not all of those are actual comic strips. So there might be, say, 714 comics. You’re welcome to double-check me on that.
