That’s pretty co… wait, what the heck? BOARD GAME?
You were gonna make a board game and not tell us?!
HOW DA… ok, when will my signed copy be in the mail Greg? 😀
I was in Memphis last weekend with the band for the International Blues challenge (not competing.) Missed the Peabody, we were busy, but hopefully next time.
Yeah, board game. Am I missing something? Although that seems to have surprised everyone. I started out consulting on board game development, back in the last century.
Hmm. Any advice? We’ve done a few rounds of beta testing, and my buddy who’s been at the head of that has a pack of truly game-playing friends who said they’d give it the acid test when we’re ready (Nearly there). What else do you suppose I should do- and once it’s a complete concept, where to go with it?
I started as a consultant for Advanced D&D and Mystara in TSR’s last couple of years, but I created the Blackfox Non-Linear Engine at that same time and found myself thrown into Console and PC games ever since as a consultant and now a Project Lead. I’m out of touch with what goes on in the tabletop world, but you can still talk to people in the industry at seminars, workshops and trade shows. That’s just not the case with video games for two reasons. Game projects are developed according to complex formulas of market anticipation and such. And we do not and cannot look at proposals solicited or unsolicited for legal reasons.
Back in day I seen the Dr. Who official game in pasteup, have a friend that ran a Paranoia game at con (it was great, we had to do jumping jacks!!!!!) and it was turned into one of the modules sold, etc. I have written a few ‘opolies’ type games tailor made for friends that game (entirely hand produced game.) Playtest the crapola out of it. Then get it glued up asap and get it to print. (all your art and such laid out and ready for press, etc). WATCH FOR TYPOS!!!!!
Glad you got to go play and have a blast, Greg. Looks like a vatload of fun.
Now then, about the board game???????????????
Greg gets books!
Seacrest looks like a cut-out. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Look between legs of Seacrest, it’s white. It’s a cutout. Good angling and pose though with the standin and Greg.
I do admit your boardgame is INTRIGUING ME at least hehe

Contact Hasbro, Milton Bradley etc (maybe Cards Against Humanity?) and see if one of them will license it off you.

Greg told us about this well over a year ago.
I think it was mentioned earlier than this, but this was the one I found quickly:
