Jacquée is lobbing softballs for the Mayor. They must have a studio appearance lined up later.
Durnell’s got the Fest on his mind. Can you blame him?
Dusty is cranky, and apparently has a longer memory than a lot of interviewers these days.
I spend a lot of time during news interviews saying, “Didn’t he (or she) do the EXACT OPPOSITE last year and swear it was the right thing and that the OTHER guys were horrible hypocrites? Are ya gonna mention THAT? Even to ask where the change of heart came from? Anything? No?”
He could be thinking fees they can charge for events like this.
Never argue with the TV. People can’t tell the difference.
No, wait. Isn’t it, never put an idiot on TV?
Wait, no…
Dusty can do some aggressive reporting. Her questions are hard hitters. She’s knocking the truth right out of his head. Something, something, she ain’t nice.
Snerks….sic him
Some politicians have a memory span going back to shortly after the last election where whatever they said, did, promised, suddenly drops into a black hole and they rewrite things to make them look better often on the fly.
I predict Dusty is going to be two parts PMS queen incarnate, one part barracuda with a hangover, one part horsefly, and one part oozing slimeball until she either gets her buyout or gets dropped (in which case she will not be able to get rid of Chase R Ambule even with an exorcism)
I have heard this song and dance so many times regarding my horse trails. I think of all the times I heard “oh, we’ll leave a path for the horses, really” it only happened once. I heard that same song this morning, regarding an historic ford across the San Dieguito river that I have used for 30 years, and which has been in use for at least 200. It’s why the El Camino Real goes where it does. Let’s see if I can still use it in a year.
