My own self image isn’t anything like the man in the mirror. When I have horrific dreams of being chased by monsters through endless dank hallways, I wake up thinking “I had hair.” and the dream seems all the better for it.

Oh yeah when Reality INSISTS on crashing the party.
Sigh. Worst for me are dreaming I am eating something I can’t have anymore, and it tastes SOOO good and waking up. Not even a linger of that wonderful taste in my mouth.
The woman in my mirror isn’t quite me anymore but I made peace with her. If she quits inviting the greys (silvers, mine glow silver) to come in UN-evenly, I’ll be okay. I can even handle the extra padding…
Poor Lowell, he has quite a ways to go and a LOT of hard work to get between the first two frames and the last two…
I like the fact that Lowell’s “mental picture” includes Paste wearing a “Lowell” shirt. Now, that’s dreaming big.
Not even dreams could get a shirt on Bob though. XD
I can relate, it takes almost an act of a higher power to get shoes on me.
think lowel pictured himself stepping on the board and doing moves like tony hawk from the start. plus he is lucky the board did not break under him..
