Bam. Right into the deep end. No problem. Tread water, and tell everyone the water’s not that deep. Right? Right?

Baptism by fire. Had more jobs start that way than I want to admit. Nikki scooped that one up well.
Yep. She’ll go far if she keeps that up.
ROFL “MOLDY GROWTH” good one hehe
and yeah best answer, still professional, to give in those situation while keeping an eye on the troll hehe
Nikki was never really so much made the manager as she was Paste’s babysitter. Everything beyond that is head office work.
Paste knew Pam from somewhere, but I don’t remember seeing her before. Smartly dressed in business suit and briefcase, she came ready to negotiate. Nikki’s answer is respectful and polite, something she learned from her Dad?
First time Pam’s been here. She’s loosely based on one single real person, not like most characters here that’re based on three and four people.
Maybe she’s someone that works with or knows Hubris’ stepfather? So Paste would know her from there….
So Pam is “up a creek ’til Monday” either way. But even if Nikki is the manager, she would still have to take it up with Hubris, since this is the type of matter that requires his decision on whether or not to give the go-ahead. Still, I imagine that he will, for what better way to ratchet up the potential for interesting (read: zany) scenarios than to participate in an event? It just wouldn’t be HUBRIS! without regular servings of banana-whip craziness, now would it?
