The raccoons just need to make sure he’s not dead or anything.
I mean, no sense climbing down there to rescue him if he’s dead, right?

They *could* climb down to eat the spare Clif bars from the corpse…
I did check back after all, like I said I would. I am not in a position to be a Patreon (will not bore you with reasons). However, finding updates on Hubriscomics again is a lovely feeling. Thank you for taking the time for non-paying fans like me.
Glad to do it! It’s very satisfying, and strangely relaxing, to finally have the time to write another month’s worth and ink and color another week all in one go. Sigh!
1 point for the Raccoons! My Calvinball senses are tingling!
Happy and relieved to know that Hubris was still alive, all that was left to do was figure out what to do next. After a few minutes, they decided that perhaps Lowell might know what to to. So they headed back to the fest, slightly regretting tossing the tricycle along the way.
We checked one of our fellow GIs in Nam by chunking rocks at him. He was so still we thought he might be dead. Separating us was a mine field he had walked into when we got ambushed. He cussed at us for nailing him but we were thankful he was alive. We did get him out clearing a few mines in the process.
I have a similar problem to Nachikethass, so really appreciate the free Hubris comics, probably my all time favourite comic.
It seems no matter where Hubris goes or what he does or doesn’t do, he can’t avoid being caught up in some kind of wreckage.
