I’m wondering if Kara understands the joke behind her name, and if she tolerates anyone repeating it at her. I had a friend who was also named Kara. As a joke, her mother gave her the legal middle name of Mia. She hated that.
There’s a fine line between angry and determined. Angry (while in the Marines) I shot the 9mm all over the place. Determined, I can shoot my .380 just as well one-handed as two (which doesn’t say much, it’s small enough & sights crappy enough that it’s not that accurate anyway, but carries real nice.)

Our local range has a Sig Sauer that shoots .380 in the rental case. I like that gun a lot, and thought I might like to own one. They’re expensive.
