I’ve done murals. I’ve done murals on loose substrate that had to then be applied or affixed to it’s final home.
It’s not fun. On the other hand, this was fun:
Chalk mural. Yes, I drew a grid to transfer the sketch to the wall.

Gridwork is time honored…
Cheating is cutting stencils or using an overhead projector or opaque projector. I was good enough to do cartography (enlarging maps) by hand.
I design and build theater sets. I once had the art teacher in the school do some advertising signs as set pieces in a show. She taught the kids with an overhead projector and used a full gallon of paint to prime 3 18 square foot panels. Claimed that the surface had to be absolutely perfect. I have no idea what she would do wit a building as a substrate! She is, thank goodness, gone, now.
beautiful mural.
I did a logo on a double spread bed sheet like 10 years ago. it was a lot of work through the night to have it on time for the convention but people REALLY saw where we were so it was perfect. we used it for like 8 years after that.
and also “BOSS IN THE HAT’ HILARIOUS hehe
Looks like an apostrophe is missing. This will not stand!
Tho’s company’s that make sign’s used up more than their’s fair share’s, so I din’t have any to use.
Vincent: “I just do the final art. You guys handle theory. Cool, yeah.”
Just the obsessive side of me, and possibly not your fault, but one of the outlet plates is crooked.
I couldn’t say. I’m not an electrician or anything. I just draw around stuff like that.
I never thought of using a grid for large banners. Then again, I have very little talent when it comes to drawing.
