hubris has the touch for the guy just proved not only will he wear those pants he is willing to be in public with a hat no one would ever wear in public with out dieing of embarrment or signs of insanity
Unless you’re a DAD and your elementary school age offspring KNIT you that hat. That obligates you to. It’s also very easy to figure out that that person is doing that versus the ones that are a few bricks short of a load (and we wonder about the stacking on that pallet) …
I did a Flying Spaghetti Monster one, even managed to get ONE of the yarns mentioned in the instructions. Turned out very awesome; just as I was putting it together the (their planned holiday gift) recipient told me a major rage against ‘knitted caps’ so I sent it to someone else I know that collects unusual headgear. They gave it a loving home (after forty hours of work on it I did NOT want it to end up in the landfill!)
The other one was several three dimensional and a reasonable pass at color, tomatoes, put onto a crocheted hat, with leaves and all. That one the recipient gave to someone else that collected hats, also; so. I quit doing elaborate 3d hats after that, nobody I made them for appreciated them.
Oh
Mi
Ghod
(sprayed keyboard and monitor laughing)
Oh, that WOULD knock any puny pair of plaid golfing shorts out of the running!
Go for it! Dignity is over-rated.
Magnificent

I have one, done in Cthulhu noir. Sanity is for the meek!

Ooo.
