As always, it’s much appreciated, and, as always, I wish I could knock these things out faster so that you could have them, and there’d still be time for my usual day job and sleep and raising my kids and all that guff.

Where Bob lived “all those nights he just disappeared”? They might have put that mystery to rest at long last by asking the blond guy who popped his head in a little while ago. But assuming that he was the one providing the “wheels west,” he’s disappeared with Bob, so mystery it will remain.
