too bad I am traveled out…just got home from Seattle and an Alaskan cruise…I am in Minnesota and Wisconsin isnt that far away…will have to see how I feel closer to the event…would be neat to meet you though…I simplu love Eddie and Hubris has gotten a place in my funnies heart as well…

“Creator”? I thought someone else created The Buckets, and you took over? (NOT that I’m trying to knock down your awesomeness…) just asking questions my good man…
It’s considered cumbersome to talk about someone being ‘writer and artist’ of a comic strip, and so the word ‘creator’ has taken hold at some point. The ‘originator’ or of course ‘original creator’ is the term currently used for the first person on a comic. The people I always feel bad for these days are the ‘writers’ of comic strips. The average person doesn’t conceive of a comic strip being written at all, and when these folks say they ‘write a comic strip’, people seem usually to assume they mean that they ‘draw’ it instead, or if they DO understand right off, they seem sort of deflated to be meeting a person who ‘only’ writes a comic.
