It’s one thing to enjoy a little chaos.
It’s Next Level to want to contribute something new and beautiful to an already chaotic system.
I’m with her, though… you can’t do it by thinking out the problem. It’s got to come organically. Through organically grown sugarcane milled down into granules of explosive chaos. Boom.
The competitors at the OutdoorFest have all learned- you can make it more fun by looking for the fuzzy edges of the rules.
…and then ignoring them if at all possible.
It’s all about spectacle, after all, not about rules and winners and losers and bloody noses and that guy that keeps throwing up outside the third porta-potty from the left. What’s that guy’s deal anyhow? He’s got issues. You can ask him to throw up outside a different porta-potty, but he doesn’t listen. He just… y’know.
Anyhow, there was a point to all this but I don’t recall what it was any more.
Stuff that sounds fun to you isn’t going to sound fun to everyone. You know what I mean. You like bicycles, and there are friends that gently rib you about riding. You like Necco wafers, and your friends correctly give you &^%$ about Necco wafers.
I don’t think that Pete and Hubris like the same stuff. Apes in a Monkey party, for instance.
