Should’ve been a ‘sudden death’ skateoff. One more round to determine the winner. And if nothing else maybe a good scar or six… bet Paste would’ve gone for that. 🙂

    Congrats, Saint Mongo!
Paste could have suggested quick-draw paintball duels…

Greg, I think I finally figured out the joke back when Team Us was introduced…

It’s Luke’s reaction at the end of the strip. On my screen, it looks like he’s grinning, making it seem that he has 0 confidence in his own skills and wants someone else to skate instead of him. However, he ends up tied for first, and he knew that he’d skated well at the end of his run. So, instead of a grin, it’s a grimace at the cluelessness of everyone else on the team – no one’s automatically choosing, for the skating competition, the one guy holding up a board. Luke’s desperately wishing to be on a different team right then.

BTW … sorry for mixing you and TSOJ up… I don’t tend to look at usernames…. I blame that on ADHD.

Yeah, good call. Taser fighting is usually done on a rotating platform with spikes.
