Well, We lost Stan Lee today. He was 95, and I’d had a conversation recently about whether anyone could expect him to live a lot longer or a little longer. Of course, variations on that conversation have happened for a decade now. It would have been really cool if he’d made it to 100, wouldn’t it?
He made a big, big figure in the world of comic books, that’s for sure. Even if we’d been lamenting his loss ten years ago, people would still be talking about what an amazing life he’d had. The fact that he added to his reputation and his place in the comics verse all the way up to his last days is astounding.
Salute!
Stan Lee will be missed. Anything I can say about his impact on action comics would be understatement and has already been said.
In the first frame Ms. Wiggens-Ross is sounding very corporate lawyer. Last frame resigned to accept the crazy.
Greg, you should have people yelling “excelsior” when they flame out in any of their events.
to my point of view, we should go on what he did.
create stories that make people dream. after all, he never stopped even when he was sick.
and, Miss Wiggens-Ross should have thought about the outcome WAY EARLIER before the outdoor fest. hehe
Sad as the loss of Stan Lee is the comforting thing is someone will find a way to bring him back in a few months.
(At Marvel, only Uncle Ben is gone forever)
Stan Lee’s hero’s had powerful souls for weapons, like him.
EXCELSIOR!!! NCC-2000!!!
