Outhouses. You know ’em. You love to hate ’em.
Stinging insects love to build nests in there… ya don’t always see ’em but you know they’re there.
Ew.

My wife refuses to use them. I’m not so picky. When you gotta go, you gotta go.
Civilization is a thing because of outhouses.
Back in the “Before times” (aka 3rd week of August, 1994), I was out on a summer camp trip with the group home. I must have eaten something bad, because around 9:30pm, while cooking s’mores etc … I suddenly felt I had to retch. I choose to find a random tree far from the outhouse to do so.
Later, when the runs started, I was glad I’d chosen the tree.
Apparently, this camp ground hadn’t had their outhouse pumped since May … ?
Not to mention the Larry Monster in the night
The weather conditions would make being in the house on the top of the big hill seem like a really good idea. Provided the dam doesn’t break and erode the hill out from under it, of course.
or erode under the outhouse, and take someone for a wild ride
The situation is just flush with possibilities.
July 15 and 16 … I would appreciate if Greg STOPPED drawing the weather in Toronto. *squeegees water from scalp*
Welp. I caught up. Nice seeing y’all here! ^_^
Long trip in the rain. Should be there now that it is AUGUST!
Was nice to follow along with the storylines. Hope you do well in whatever you have moved on to. Adios, Greg.
What’s going on with this strip? Greg? Anybody? Are you sick Greg? Or are you just tired of doing the strip? Why the extreme length of time in between updates? Is it over?
Many groveling and sincere apologies! No, I’m not done with the strip, but I found myself neck deep in three children’s books and two training modules that turned into more training modules. Also, the card game based on Hubris (Great Stanky Creek Outdoorfest) “ConCards” sort of caught fire and burned up some more time. And something had to give. My weight, my sleep, and Hubris. So, here I am with new Hubris cartoons on the board and ready to get to work while the tail end of various projects bite me in the butt.
Nearly there!
Thanks so much for the reply Greg. I guess I just have to be patient a while longer. I do love the strip. I really did think though that something was wrong, like sickness or death, or the strip coming to an end
I also began to wonder if there was some health issue involved, but kept telling myself, “No, he’s just extra busy.”
Thanks for the update. Glad to find out you’re ok, and business is good. I look forward to the next installment, whenever it shows up.
Hang in there, Greg!
Yeah, we know Comicon warps time out of reality. Remember to get YOURSELF “outside” bcuz you won’t be able to do any of it if you don’t take care of self first
