Soooooo… Enis seems none to keen to knock Shelly off his face. Or to admit what got him pitched out at Sportsmart.
Cool.

Ok, now you’ve GOT to share the secret. Eventually, if not this week! 😉
I’m “more-than-50%-certain” that those ‘details’ are the DIRECT source of Shelly’s treatment of Mr.Enis today…
…I’ll further speculate that Shelly was a PART of that scene, not just a witness…
…perhaps more like a ‘victim’, otherwise she’d’ve more likely been canned along WITH him.
If all this speculation is even PARTIALLY true…
…& if Mal ever manages to “connect the dots”…
…I’m hard-pressed to imagine any response from him that might be seen by us as being funny. My current ‘read’ on him is that he’d search for some way to demonstrate his concerned support for her — to “make it better”, somehow.
We’ll just have to wait-&-see.
Shelly probably weighs about 65 pounds with cats in her pockets, so her standing on Enis’ face probably isn’t that much of a bother to him. He’s got a few times the mass easy… and yes, he probably did something stupid like make an inappropriate remark that someone heard… or was doing wheelies with a forklift and skewered the GM’s sportscar… or… or… okay Greg, spill it!
So “probably weighs about 65 pounds with cats in her pockets” is now my favorite expression for describing a substantially smaller person…
Although I would pay good money to see someone actually try to put our cats in their pockets! Don’t think it would end well for them (the human, I mean. The cats would be fine once they cleaned the gore out of their claws.).
Our last two and thus present two housepurrs were born on the bed (mama’s first litter, I had to deliver five kittens, four were breech) and they rode around in my hubby’s bathrobe pocket many a time. And I got that (little person weight with cats in their pockets) from a reddit I read. I thought that was such a great way to describe someone… I have some really cute pictures of a kitten head sticking out of that big robe pocket…
*slowly wraps cloth around knuckles*
You gonna hurt Ms Shelly Mr. Author man??
*cracks neck*
*facepalmI*
I love the blur of motion in the last frame, reminding us she did kinda
“sit on a happy face”
Maybe not-so-much “sitting” as-much-as “taking a stand” … ?
😉
Enis is getting sneaker prints on his cheeks by now….
… if not his nose!
😀
