It’s more trouble and expense than it’s worth. Besides six weeks of recovery from a broken bone will wipe out 2 years worth of training, unless you’re “lucky” enough to be one of those guys who has a myostatin mutation.
Good point… of course, you have to factor in what the two years of working out did for you before you broke the bone, too. I’m coming up on my 2nd anniversary of doing an early morning boot camp workout, and if I broke a bone and lost the ground I’ve made, I’d be happy to start over- thought you’re right that I’d really be pissed off that I’d lost the ground, too.
