Better late than never. Like football, usually the last one up from the hogpile has the ball.
Is “me” one of Us?
Does Jim Parsons normally wear Green Lantern shirts?
Does Lowell have butt-based road rash visible from space?
Did Kara survive the dog pile?
I WIN!! (prove me wrong!!)
Bet it’s me with three cracked ribs, a broken wrist, a broken leg, and a broken nose, still grinning. And glad Lowell’s off the top!
I DO believe “me” is Kara Biner … she was the first we SAW go over the line, and you don’t really think Greg would let “Team US” win do you? đŸ˜€
Note also, in Monday’s strip, Kara had a GREEN SHIRT and “Me” has a green shirt (lighter hair, but it COULD be that Joey got mixed up with the colouring…)
I’ve had long trains of thought about who ‘wins’… I admit that it’s all from a storytelling point of view, and I try not to let my personal whims get in the way. That being said, I will mislead the heck out of everyone if it seems to benefit the story, and if it ever looks like Team Us, or any other team, has the lead, well… Don’t believe everything you read.
Also, there was a person crawling out from under the dogpile before Kara launched over Lowell. Do you suppose he made it? Or not?
I’m not tellin’. Yet.
Gotta disagree. The contest was to cross the finish line. Let the injured crawl.
(side note, the top banner ad is for 1 call, 15+ airlines, human remains transport…..or at least when I looked at this just now) The Raffle? That should be coming up. All expenses paid, free trip to the ER and a stay in ICU?????
Man, you get the best banner ads.
