Re the hover text: Oh, I don’t know. My husband and I were (are?) clearly the socially inept class nerds, but by some miracle we managed to have two charming and sociable offspring . . . or maybe they are just charming and sociable in comparison to us.
I’ve been advised to clear off some of the older clutter from the site (still working toward that.) You can still go to Top Web Comics and vote, but it didn’t seem to be helping the numbers here, so the button’s gone along with all the left sidebar articles and photos and stories. Feel free to make any other suggestions you have about cleaning up or redecorating the site.
speaking of being sharp-not-so-much, i haven’t been reading as regularly as i was. i just got caught up again and noticed (or rather Didn’t notice??) a button for voting for Hubris… did it get moved and i’m just blind or…?
ah okies. thanks for the comment back. i find when i’m behind on my w.c. reading, i just zero in on the comics themselves and don’t read the comments or really notice anything else going on. ^^;;
I had long suspected that Mal did not realize Shelly is a woman. Yesterday’s strip only intensified my suspicions. And now we know. What’s more, Mal looks not only relieved, but pleased. Whatever follows should be fun. But hey, this is the Hubrisphere; when is it ever less than fun? And freaky (in a good way)?
Careful, Mal. You know what you say HR says about workplace relationships. They say.

Site re-design a couple of weeks ago. We lost the voting button and the “natural causes” background.
