Oooooh, busy busy this week.
Local comic con followed by the convention of ISCA- the International Society of Caricature Artists.
Quite the party. I’m exhausted. And behind on deadlines.

Don’t give excuses!
It’s November 19th.
The start of Christmas Party Season.
I’m not expecting daily comics until the new year.
YOU do YOU Greg.
Which is more important? Commitments or deadlines, Greg?
Yes, I miss Hubris. I’ll be grumpy and sad until I see the next episode (and the next and the…) No, I’m not stupid/entitled enough to think that you owe me ANYthing, especially not free work on demand.
Take care of yourself and your paying commitments first. I’ll be over here in the corner, knashing my teeth as quietly as I can. 🙂
What a schedule!: Sunday reception ’til 11pm, Tuesday reception ’til 10pm, Wednesday karaoke ’til 11pm, and Friday banquet ’til 10, then party ’til …
But I’m sure you’re spending all those late hours signing autographs and other healthy activities.
Ha! Not me! This is my first ISCA convention, and there’s no reason for anybody to know who I am, what with plenty of world-class caricaturists running around. There are a few friends there, a few acquaintances I’m very glad to re-acquaint with, but mostly I’m having a fine time dipping a toe into their world. Having said that, I’m definitely joining the Speed Caricature competition next year…
*slaps Greg*
YOU. ARE. A. WORLD. CLASS. CARTOONIST.
Now, stop putting yourself down, and go hang out with Lynn Johnson and Greg Evans. Also, get their autographs for me, would ya?
This one is a caricaturist convention instead of a cartoonists convention. I won’t see Mrs. Johnston nor any of the other Gregs until May or June.
Well dang.
$25 CAD per autograph you get for me Greg!
Including your own.
So, how did that customer react to her caricature?
Well, that customer is actually another caricaturist. We had to do different heats, there were so many competitors. So any artist who wasn’t drawing was asked to jump into the ‘customer’ line. It was pretty cool!
Thank you for thinking of us.
