Sliders. Fine television show. Never achieved that sci-fi-fi notoriety that would make it the focus of, say, a nerd convention or anything, but not bad. Sorta the ‘Quantum Leap’ of its day.

It’s Troy Thursday again. Are any of you guys web gurus? I think Troy’s gonna outgrow li’l ol’ Thursdays here, and might need a web guy.
Speaking of Web Guys… John Lotshaw (http://accidentalcentaurs.com/) isn’t a web guy, but is slumming here at Hubriscomics.com to get the site turned into something a little slicker. He’s patching up the broken archive links, too, so the next time you go back for a read-through, it might just read through. Of course, there’s no telling how monkeyed up I’ve made it, so we’ll see. E’r’body say, “Thanks, John!” …And let us know about broken links (He’s already fixed the big one you guys noticed a while back in the story arc about Hubris’ mom) or other issues you’ve noticed. Got suggestions about cleaning up the site, or adding something specific? Now’s the time to point it out.
Here’s more of Troy Peterson’s Old Man & His Dog for you on this Thursday!
Not too long back, Troy flew himself all the way from out West to Nashville to take a shot as an entry-level cartoonist as Guy Gilchrist ramped up his studio to produce thirteen videos for Dolly Parton. That’s where Troy and I met.
It was a fast-paced job, and much sleep was lost. Here’s the first video Guy and his crew created:
Hey, kids!
Something different today, in case you haven’t already worked that out.
The cartoons you see are by Troy Peterson. He and I were part of the team helping Guy Gilchrist do some videos for Dolly Parton (No kidding!)
In his strip, the eponymous Old Man is John, who is an amateur cartoonist who draws ‘Blinded By The Light’- cleverly giving you two cartoons for the price of one.
More of Troy’s comic strip work can be seen HERE. Check him out.
