Wow. In the short time that I flip-flopped the way Hubris cartoons load (because of the GoComics restructure) I’m two weeks ahead of Hubriscomics at Patreon. It feels very weird.
When Hubris started running at GoComics, I had maybe three months of backlog between here and there. I whittled it down to three weeks or so by the end. I’m glad the two didn’t wind up simultaneous. That would have gone sideways, I’m sure.
Now, this main site is being subsidized by the Patreon site, so the lead time there is growing. Not something I foresaw when I decided to keep cranking out Hubris for a few more years, to be sure. Webcomics are odd beasts, but more fun than a barrel full of monkeys… at an OutdoorFest.
Somebody’s got a barrel of monkeys! They’ve been holding out on us! Get ’em!
Consider this my “LIKE”!
Thank you.
Ook-ook eek-eek!
The barrel was hanging from the Jenga crane, but when someone crashed into it the barrel swung waaay up and rolled down the red wagon hill, with mokeys landing on hairdos, on lovers, on anyone else we need to remember from this fest 🙂
TSAGSCOGF took Greg, what, 4 years to get this far?
He’s probably already writing the TTSGSCOGF, with the idea to have it done in a year this time.
My old man used to ask, “what’s more fun than a barrel full of monkeys? Two barrels full of monkeys!”
I know several horses who don’t like western style saddles. My old polo mare used to look at me when she was saddled with one and pretty much say “what are YOU riding, cause I am fully loaded now” They are heavy, don’t fit all that well, and horses with withers (high shoulder ridges) don’t do well in them. Bareback is usually fine, and my horse rather likes my english style saddle.
🙂 I rather prefer a decent dressage saddle, myself, but Ronnie was easier to sit in a decent trail saddle. He was NOT a bareback type, too much thoroughbred in him and really stabby withers. 🙂
I wouldn’t just be saying I didn’t want it to be over, I’d be out there looking for string and plastic bottles. ONE MORE EVENT!!!!!!!
