Nice to see the artist dude in the van is still there!
Chocolate, for most, is a one size fits all (open mouth, insert chocolate)
A few do hate the food of the gods, a few are allergic to the food of the gods, and for some of us, we just have to be careful on how that chocolate is made (what’s in it) (I unfortunately am now in the last one. I need ‘vegan’ chocolate, aka dairy free chocolate. Sigh. I miss peanut butter cups and M&M’s)
Next fest I wanna be there with a chocolate booth. Hot and not chocolate. Including free trade sustainable truly righteous stuff, and even the kind those like me can have. hehehehehe Make a fortune selling Oreo Lasagna (look it up!!!!!)
(Joyous all nighter, the water pipes froze, but only one faucet set and the hot line to that is froze too. 330 am and I get to crawl under the house with a bernzomatic. Nice knowing y’all)
I took a heat tape (gutter melter/pipe warmer) and put that on under there instead. At least there is a working plugin down there. Still wasn’t fun. Never a crawlspace again-either slab or full basement…. I hate it under there. I wasn’t too fond of the spouse’s solution so I figured out one of my own….
And things are working fine again, got the pipes more neatly wrapped with some insulation (left the heat tape on) and the wind is another direction tonight. Just me getting to freeze…
Heat tape works, if it’s manufactured for the purpose. Pipe insulation. Cover your crawl space holes with foam insulation, or at least a couple layers of cardboard, to create a still space where the heat from the house can seep downwards. Leave the doors open under your sinks if they’re on an outside wall. And hope it warms up soon.
We’ve seen people do some… unusual… things to frozen pipes. And I say this as the spouse of a gentleman who took a torch to the oil furnace feeder pipes one really cold winter. And yes, I let him know of my opinions in GREAT detail. He did not do it again. 😉
So, her complaint is that there’s a global chocolate shortage? And she thinks an outdoor fest complaints department can do something about that? Or, does she just feel the need to vent?
I can still have the chocolate with milk. I’ve started eating better quality chocolate out of personal preference. I just have to watch my intake. Got to watch the calories.

Uhhhh, seriously? Don’t. That’s dangerous.
Been in the trade 40 years. Any form of open flame under a house is dangerous. Pros have special equipment and there are STILL stories I can tell you…

Hey I don’t feel like moving because of dum-(nevermind).

Probably just a need to vent…
that dude can’t even agree with himself.

That guy is here, but he’s not all there…

Doc told me don’t eat anything fatty.
I asked if he meant to not eat any fatty foods.
Nope, he said. Fatty, don’t eat anything. 🙁
There is no such thing as not enough chocolate, unless you’re allergic to it.
