I don’t race.
I mean, I HAVE raced. I really don’t enjoy it. I like bike rides with friends but I don’t typically ride for speed, I’d rather ride for the sharp turns and little jumps and balanced edges. My favorite kind of bike is usually a trials bike with a couple of extra gears.
I sympathize with our racer who’s decided to quit pedaling and put down roots.
Give them ten minutes and a nice cold drink, and they’ll be able to finish. It’s down hill now to the rendezvous, correct? Remind them of that. Go down there, and you get to the rendezvous, and you get to RIDE after that. Yeah. Ride. C’mon….
Dude, have some pride, will ya? The little girl on the trike with the bladed tires is kicking your butt. At the least, have the grace to die *quietly* in a ditch.
*falls onto the grass*
Curtis, wake me up if you find my pride, would ya? haha
I’m on it.
I got my stickers an patches today!!! Woot!
KEWL…. Enjoy them Carol! That stuff is prized here…!
Curtis, wanna stop and have a few cold ones and put out a baited trap for Allan’s pride? We can pour one for Allan too, if his roving shedding purring overlord will let him join us.
@FeelingForYa no, the cat will NOT approve of me going to a bar.
NOT that I care what he says. OW! He just scratched me.
When did he learn to read?
They KNOW. They just KNOW. We’ll go find a place with outside patio that has enough space for us all to take tablets and do Skype so we can still socialize. And they’ll let you have your Count Otto Von Shredder overlord be with you… how does your purr deal with harnesses?
Once I smoosh him into carrying crate, give him some Temptations! and we get rolling, he falls asleep! *facepalm* Or he watches people, and is just REALLY REALLY calm and cool about being outside.
I haven’t dared try a harness, and he hasn’t had any flea / tick protection since I got him in June… and he won’t as he isn’t an outdoor roaming floof.
Mellow in a carrier, you have a superb overlord there. My pair are indoors but we had about four months of killing a cat-flea problem. ALL the cats around, indoors and out, had a bad round of them, and we got them into the master bedroom. I sprayed so much special bugdeath in there nothing should crawl in there ever again (those spraycans were $20 a pop) And we are STILL cleaning and boiling water washing clothes, getting them processed. One of ours shakes their head or extends a claw near their ears and my spouse flips out. And I get to do minute inspections that there are none of those horrid things around…
