I’m in the middle of painting a children’s book for a client. I’m too tired to know what to write.
It’s a good thing I got a bunch of scripts written before the heavy workload hit.
In a week or so… if you suddenly see single illustrations of Hubris dancing the charleston that look like they were done in ball point pen… you’ll know the deadlines have gotten me.

Greg, you have too much blood in your caffeine….
You’ll pull through, you always do.
If you have to take a sanity break for deadline, I’m sure we will understand. (sayeth one of your patreons, who also is too familiar with artist deadlines).
Hubris sounds like he’s just fine there, kayaking will sort him out. Heh. Since he has packs all ready to go (see an earlier strip or two), he can get out of there quick, even moreso without Paste there.
Ballpoint pen is underrated. Hubris doing the Charleston in a kayak – priceless.
nothing better than having fun and relaxing before a period of stress no? hehe
Poor Hubris.. Having to act like an adult, businessman and all that..
Not sure why this popped into my head, but has Hubris met Steve, yet?
*Painted* ball point pen…
Umm, is this the Feaver and Rashe Sports Clinic? Am I the last one to pick up on this?
Funny, but no. It’s Biner & Rashe Sports Clinic.
sorry hubris but you got roped into doing the thing no backing out now short of mother nature helping out by a freak storm that prevents it from happening
And it occurs to me that ‘Rashe’ is fitting in at least two senses: Patients wind up at the clinic thanks to indulging in rash behavior that either caused them injuries or — wait for it — a rash.
As a veteran of almost everything that can make you break out, I itch to think about it. Road Rash though is about the worst. Contact metal (nickel-rhodium or worse, copper-it turns your finger green then the little red rash blisters like berries…) You know you have a really awesomely awful case of breaking out (hives too) when the doctor gives you pills to put you to sleep for three days…. and lots of prednisone.
