So, things are piling up for the guys.
Problems with navigation, problems with language, problems with optical acuity… and gastrointestinal integrity. Problems with interpersonal communication and patience…
Nothing a good therapist couldn’t work them through, given a few weeks of sessions and proper insurance.

Ziggy Foote is a big guy, and he gets noticed a lot.
That other fella, though… where the heck did he come from? Has he been here the whole time?
Team Wukilar have never seemed to all be on the same wavelength. Yeah, they’re bound together either by the fact that they’re all cosplaying cryptids and/or conspiracy critters, or they are all, in fact, cryptids or conspiracy critters- but they don’t have the fellowship that you expect from people on a team together, do they? More like family of various ages and social persuasions sitting at the same table for a holiday meal. You know someone’s gonna huck the gravy boat, you’re just waiting to see who it’s gonna be… and who’s gonna be the first to say, “I ain’t cleaning that up” and go watch TV.
On the other hand, those Bugaloos- what a fine bunch of kids they seem to be, with their cheery attitudes and utter lack of fashion sense or hip streetwisedness. Plus, there’s only four of them, and that seems to be an issue all of a sudden.
Shuffleboard sounded so dull, even when you add ‘full-contact’ to it. Everyone put their attention into the five-legged race.
Ha ha. Now, the shuffleboard has their attention. This should keep them busy for a few minutes.
Time. I worry about it during workouts. I mean, they’re only 45 minutes long. An entire thin-crust supreme pizza wouldn’t last 45 minutes in front of me. 45 minutes is only half the length of a decent movie. I can piddle away 45 minutes looking for a word in a puzzle. But put me in a boat with a cramp, or on a bike at the far end of a turnaround ride, or in a car flying down the interstate after I drank a diet mountain dew? 45 minutes is nearly as long as that insane workout I mentioned earlier. Seriously. Do 20 pushups. That should eat up at least six minutes, don’t you think? I gotta start working out with people older than me. They have a better sense of time.
Here’s another one of those cartoons where the original pen and ink isn’t much to look at. The figures in the first two panels are there, and the lettering and balloon in the last panel. It’s better after the Photoshopping. It’s mostly due to the clouds. Nice clouds.
On another note, the action here is pure superhero. There’s an awful lot of superhero-ing that goes on these days in our entertainment channels, and not all in superhero movies (though there’s an awful lot of superhero-ing going on in those) No, I’m talking about how in almost any action and drama these days, the hero has some ability to run without gasping or think without effort or jump off of roofs without shattering four bones and two semi-major organs… or twist and ankle that hurts for more than, say, 12 seconds. It wouldn’t surprise anyone who’s watching the final season of Game Of Thrones right now if The Mountain or his brother could juggle a Caber like ol’ Ziggy here.
Superhero.
Look, it’s Mr. Ziggy Foote, from The Wukilars. He’s so helpful. If he were any more helpful, he might have noticed that Mal was around and let him keep his feet on the ground.
