So! Troy was at the inaugural NCSFest in California a couple of weeks ago. He and I hung around with more cartoonists than you’d be wise to shake a stick at. I wish all you guys could have been there. But until next year’s NCSFest, you’ll just have to dream of being immersed in so much cartoony goodness.

I still haven’t seen the final episode either, but the News says I’m supposed to be disappointed or outraged or something.
I worry about hand-lettered signs around town that say “We buy houses” and have a phone number scrawled underneath.
Who the heck that buys houses puts yard sale-style signs out, and if they do, do you wanna sell them your house?
It all sounds a little desperate. At least people that mail you their postcards ponied up for a stamp.
I was telling Troy- we got one of those iRobot Roombas. We (I) named it Sucky McSuckerton. My wife tried to say that we weren’t naming it that, but I figured if I kept calling it L’il Sucky, it’d catch on.
It caught on.
Lots of ‘T’s in the Title Today. Anyhow, we’re doing an ‘Inception’ kinda day, where Troy does a cartoon that’s a cartoon by ‘John’ who’s the ‘Old Man’ in ‘Old Man & His Dog’ which is actually the strip done by Troy…
I know what you’re saying… It’s like an onion. Or parfait. Layers.

Not too long back, Troy flew himself all the way from out West to Nashville to take a shot as an entry-level cartoonist as Guy Gilchrist ramped up his studio to produce thirteen videos for Dolly Parton. That’s where Troy and I met.
