Ask anyone with a profession that falls outside of an MBA’s purview… A brand new MBA will automatically assume that he (or she) can not only advise you the best way to do your job, but probably do it better than you if only he (or she) had the time. Doing advertising cartoons puts you in these people’s path quite a bit. Older clients are fine. They know where they shine, and they know they want good work done. They hire you and you do your thing and everyone gets paid. Brand New MBAs on their first couple of big projects? Nightmare of micro-managing bluster.
