Enis is going to do all by himself what it took all of Sportsmart to do for the first Outdoorfest. He’s going to gut it down to a T-shirt sale or something.

Wow. In the short time that I flip-flopped the way Hubris cartoons load (because of the GoComics restructure) I’m two weeks ahead of Hubriscomics at Patreon. It feels very weird.
When Hubris started running at GoComics, I had maybe three months of backlog between here and there. I whittled it down to three weeks or so by the end. I’m glad the two didn’t wind up simultaneous. That would have gone sideways, I’m sure.
Now, this main site is being subsidized by the Patreon site, so the lead time there is growing. Not something I foresaw when I decided to keep cranking out Hubris for a few more years, to be sure. Webcomics are odd beasts, but more fun than a barrel full of monkeys… at an OutdoorFest.
Shoes are… not a good award.
Unless you’ve somehow won some Nike and Hoka sponsored race where they have to give you decent shoes in your own size.
And preferably in your own choice of color, ’cause some running shoes look like they’re designed to make drivers on the road swerve to avoid you in case the clashing colors somehow ruin their eyesight or give them acid flashbacks.
I got some new shoes yesterday.
I remember being a kid and having new white shoes that were so bright they looked kinda stupid.
I remember that because it happened again yesterday.
Of course, I’m old enough now to wear them with dark socks and shorts.
So, I’m finally admitting that the Stanky Creek book isn’t going to get done with my regular schedule in action. Which means that cartoons I originally thought would only be seen in the book will make some kind of limited appearance… HERE!
Today’s two cartoons have three (count ’em, three) of Team Us making appearances near the beginning of the book.
And away we go…
