I SOOO empathize with that first strip (insert grumpy old man comment of your choice here). The adventures and just plain fun that my dogs and I had are still fresh in memory decades later. How much of that smartphone browsing will leave that strong of a memory?

Phones have their place, but those kids should be living a life… sigh.
