Alright, folks. I was out of town and really messed up my ability to post some fantastic stuff from Jeff. I thought I had it scheduled, and I just didn’t.
On the other hand, I have some completely fantastic stuff about the Kenosha Festival of Cartooning to post when I can gather it all together. It was buck fun.
More soon! Stay tooned! I’m fired up!
Misspelling in first panel: It’s “Attorney” .. unless he’s an attorney on tour.
Oops. Hang on. Fixing.
Fixed! I trust you guys to play editor for me. Thanks, Michael!
Glad to help! Found Hubris through your Bearmageddon guest comic and have enjoyed it since.
Darned lawyers… always trying to ruin the fun.
*LOL* Oh, Greg … one two three many beers the night you put words to this eh? *L*
You, my friend, need a device that’ll spell check for you. You know, some computerized device, with Microsoft Word. Or a wife. That might work. *L*

Welcome home Greg…glad it went well for you and wish I could have made it….maybe someday you will get to Minneapolis or St. Cloud and I will definitely be there!
Well, I’ve started a blog post about that kind of thing. It took Anne Hambrock a LOT of dedicated work to put the thing together. Any town could probably field enough butts-in-seats to make such a thing work, but it takes some person with the will, energy and vision to realize the thing. There were novice and professional cartoonists coming from all over to be a part of the Kenosha Festival. The local colleges and high schools got to have pro cartoonists come and talk about the business end of things and the fun aspect of the career… It was a really great event- but if you want to see one done in your town, it’s going to take someone with real passion for the concept to step up and make the deals with schools, syndicates, local news and radio, hotels and all the rest. Kickstarter was critical to this latest Kenosha Fest, and I hope there are people thinking of contacting Anne to do other fests the way she did this one. The first syndicate savvy enough to hire Anne to do more of these around the country will be the last syndicate left standing. Mark my words, and pass ’em around.
Hey, Michael- two more days til Bearmageddon fires back up, right?
Yep. Bearmageddon starts back up tomorrow. Can’t wait.
nice now hubris can hold the event with out it being invaded by ambulence chasers like that lawyer bedsides surely hubris makes them sign a waiver to be in the thing.
Ohhhh so you reckon he won’t be back. interesting.
Lawyers are like mosquitos….you can swat em and kill as many as you want and more will just keep appearing….heavy sigh….
Ooh, I think I see where this is going.
