Don’t you hate it when people are telling a story and they leave out the important bits at the beginning? Then the end of the story is all “Oh, yeah, we were in Germany at the time” or “Oh, no, she was dead before we got there, you see.” or “No, everyone was already naked. Didn’t I say that?”

Ah the gaming group. Where’s the Cooler Ranch Doritos? The fast food everyone grabbed on the way over? Oh man… that was an important part, the food. (and the one guy that’d get up and roll his dice across where the miniatures were set up and bounce them off the GM/DM screens, so I made a dice rolling tower and put it on the table so he quit chipping up the mini’s and wasting 10 min to reset the diorama…) They’re not going to like it when they can’t roll a d20 against a THACO0 out in the real world. Hope someone packs a real first aid kit….and sunscreen-that survives sweat- and the bug-be-gone…

Aren’t they supposed to address him as Sir Marnok? Also have I told you about the time I smuggled 1 liter of water on a plane. The plane crashed. There’s a reason they don’t allow you to bring this much water at airports.
Also maybe it was a paper plane, and 1kg is just too much for these things. Also they eventually crash anyways.

Strange, I get the impression “Sir Marnok” isn’t as clueless as his fellow D&Ders. Maybe because it didn’t Occur to him that he Had to explain that he’d signed them up for something Real?
Then again, he’s been playing with these guys for who knows how long and it Didn’t occur to him that he would have to explain that part… So maybe a different Kind of clueless?
