I had fun deciding what Lowell would look like when disguising himself. I used up a lot of eraser.

Bigfoot has gone east-side hipster!
Maybe Nikki can make a new set of artisanal sandals for him.
just when you think someone can’t get more ridiculous…they find a way toward a HOMERUN…
sincerely THAT’S the show for Tv right there…
guess i should be glad the leaf “gown” is no more and replaced with real clothe still.
Just about blew my food when I saw the self inflicted hairline.
Say whatever you want, this is a HUGE improvement from both his original style and his wild days style. He actually looks like someone I’d want to know more.
On the other hand, it would have been nicer if he didn’t need the change because he has to keep a low profile… One day, he’ll grow a decent brain, one day…
My sentiments exactly.
The external improvement’s nice but an Internal one would be nicer. Sadly, that ship likely hit an iceberg before it even left the ship yard.
Well, shut my mouth! Please.
Good god…
I like the Bigfoot Lowell. Bigfoot was less dorky than the old Lowell and the latest Lowell.
Early 1970’s throwback. YAAAAGH!
(almost as bad as our powerout last night) Maybe I should’ve left the computer off for awhile yet. This is one of those that can’t be UNSEEN!
O…M…G!!! Yes…please go home Lowell…and put a bag over your head!!
One of the prime directives of the Hubrisphere: Expect the unexpectedly goofy.
That Lowell has done something comes as no shock; I expected that. Whatever it was, I’m trying to imagine, though I’m not sure I want to. All will be revealed soon enough, so I’m not dwelling on it too much.
But his new look? Well butter my bum and call me a biscuit… who would’ve imagined?! (Except Greg.) He arguably looks even less like Lowell than his Bigfoot look made him look, if that’s possible. I won’t ask if it can get any weirder, because I know it will. So bring it!
Interesting how quick he can go from feral to no-taste geeky dweeb wanna-be hipster (or whatever Greg calls this awful look.) Still the funniest strip I’ve seen in a while.
the answer to who has it on video is easy two choices kelly or paste. betting paste lowel looks like big foot is going for the crazy hippie look.
Nah. I’m thinking the security cameras at SportsMart.
Stripless Thursday over-analysis:
When last seen, Lowell was at Sportsmart, looking for ‘raw vengeance’, now appears in disguise, acting suspicious. Has our big boy done something rash?
Well, apparently.
And will he, by forcing his presence where unwanted, entangle Hubris in the consequences thereof?
Well, DUH!
So the forecast for Hubris is mayhem, frustration, scattered lawyers, and damn little fun in the sun with Kara.
Ah…but our fabulous cartoonist will probably throw another plot twist at us just to keep us guessing!!
Cue Chase R Ambule?
Looking at Lowell again, bet he did do something in SportsMart… off in that one aisle.
Worse, he raided the place for a few juicy tidbits he could have had ahold of before he got fired by SportsMart and gave them to Kelly…
Unlikely we will find out tomorrow. As always, the best way to keep someone in suspense is to…
You should post the process for figuring out Lowell’s new look through Patreon.
On GoComics, someone commented that Kara reminded him of Toby Bucket in the panel where Lowell and Chase R. Ambule fall through the roof of the Outdoor Galore Store (see 2/18/15). Here, that same uncanny resemblance is apparent in panel four.
Yeah, whenever I get lazy while drawing eyes at a great distance, suddenly people get The Bucket eyes. I think that’s it.
