Well, after being out of touch for a few days, I’m back! A large Pecan limb decided, late Thursday, that there was no particular reason we should have phone or cable in our home. The phone was an easy fix. The cable, and the attendant internets, was not so much. The nice man finally came and repaired the whole mess this morning. So you get this new Hubris cartoon. Yay!

(I hope you nail that pecan limb to the side of your garage as a warning to all the other trees on the block.) (On a side note, is it ok to nail picketers to the side of your garage as a warning? Has that petition gone through yet?)
Welcome back from the dark ages, Greg. Nasty about the pecan limb, I would trim it up and put a twig on a plaque over the mantle to warn all the others, and take the big chunks and burn them in the fireplace for the ‘THERE you (deleted)’ revenge.
Crazy lady who was upset a bit ago about how much those things cost sure had no issue dropping the funds. Heh. She has just whipped up SO MUCH FREE publicity for the event, Durnell might even kiss her. On camera.
Even better if Hunter was the brother of the kid that came to talk to Paste about the Pump Park…
it only took a minute for hubris to figure out that lady is crazy . would have given him pegging her the moment she walked in the store and started asking about the whole thing. wouldn’t be surprised if we see her back with junior protesting while he picks up the gear.

So, were the syndicate going nuts? Or did they have enough Buckets on-hand?
I stay way ahead on the syndicate stuff. I did have to upload a week’s worth of cartoons as soon as the cable was hooked back up, but there’s a buffer there that Hubris doesn’t have. We’re on the ragged edge of disaster here at Hubris.
I’ve said it to other artists, and I’ll say it to you. True fans will understand a delay. Take 2 weeks, make a buffer and start back up. Real life happens. Hope you have less drama in the future.
