Okay, if it’s two attorneys wanting a deposition for the same case, then it means it HAS TO be from the Fest, and since everyone there had to sign a waiver…
Giving a deposition is usually NOT a direct suit naming you. A deposition is a sworn statement given in writing; and admissible in court as testimony to a case; instead of taking the stand it’s a written document, sworn and signed with witnesses and has a notary seal.
I’ve had to do these for things like a very ugly divorce of one of my aunts… I could not appear in court to give testimony but I was asked to give the deposition. I gave one ‘on my aunt’s side’ about things that had happened. It was entered as evidence against my step-uncle; who had lied about things like a rug with pattern and fringe to his attorney. One of those who attended and had to give stand testimony said that part ways through his attorney called recess, took step-uncle in the hall and reamed him a new one for lying so blatantly…he couldn’t represent him properly if all that fartbag was going to do was lie…the entire courthouse could hear that dressing down. He lost miserably, took it to the next court up, and not only did that judge read him a riot act (I gave another deposition) but upped the amount he had to pay. (which was one thing he was sniveling about).
I’m betting this has to do with Paste and custody, his father is married to Hubris’ mother, and Paste’s mom is probably still alive too. Could be that Paste was too young to sign the waivers and did things like the duct tape kayak race…. and Paste’s mom got upset.
Umm, one small comment – Paste and Hubris have the same mother. We know that Hubris’ father is dead, but that Paste’s is still alive. In fact, Mom gave Paste to Hubris because Paste’s dad was tired of Paste doing stupid stuff and asking for sponsorship money. Mom wouldn’t care what Paste did in the Fest.
I’d bet that it’s something going on in Sportsmart and that Lowell named Hubris as a witness against Ed Honcho.
Gotta dig the Uhura-esque receptionist ….

Or worse, an updating of custody of Paste….
It’s Kirk, trying to get a free whitewater trip. Spock told him this was the only logical way to get Hubris’ attention.
Was Ralph Cramden a former client?
Or are they from Finland?
Anyone seen the movie Animal Crackers? There was Hungadunga, Hungadunga, Hungadunga, and McCormack.
love the homage to uhura from star trek. and at least hubris now doesn’t have so many partners to go through to find out why the suit

You’re right I flossed they shared mom. I blame my cold meds (lovely gorgeous early fall here and I’m germfarming).
It could very well be a Sportsmart issue… heh. Lowell/Joel and the managership…. ?
