Fourteen of the In-Fill cartoons so far.
I’d love to say that I’ll pick up the pace, but starting tomorrow, there are more and more cartoonists coming into town for the 70th Annual Reubens Awards Weekend. I’m the only NCS member here in town, so there’s lots of moving boxes and goody-bag stuffing, and long days filled with, let’s be honest here, CARTOONISTS. Ah, they’re a fine buncha Reubens, they are. I’m excited… but I don’t know if the publishing schedule will hold up. How about a couple of updates that are photos of cartoonists?
Ohgods, I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!
Yes, I’ll take cartoonist pics any day. If I was closer I’d abuse the caffeine and help you get bagged, boxed, and set. Too many states away 🙁
I dunno Greg. This is starting to sound like another of those “cartoonist excuses” to not sit at the drawing table all day. Like, “the dog ate my Wacom”, and “the power company cut off electricity because I haven’t paid the bills for 4 months.” But, if you think photos of these so-called “other cartoonists” are going to substitute for your finely crafted squiggles of entertainment, then be all means, mollify us.
Just bought myself a Wacom. Long story stretching back to mid-80’s. Been the anchor during a massive runaround logistics bit like Greg is in right now, so I’ll give him a pass, just think of the pictures as ‘see I’m working and we’re having so much fun’ and getting a peek into a Cartoonist’s life. Priceless.
Thank you for the art!
have to admit it would be VERY ENTERTAINING to see that in real life hehe.
Don’t listen to TSOJ. Take some photos and enjoy the Reubens show.
I should point out that the plan, so far, is to take photos of a few of these cartoonists that have agreed to go to Paintball Park with me.
Bwuhuhuhuhuhuhuhhhhhhhh!
Before and After photos! Before and After!
What he said!
Oh, YEAH!
Maybe you could ask some of these cartoonists to take over Hubris for a panel or two, that might be helpful and take some of the pressure off you.
I’m sure there’d be lots of volunteers but I’d go with that guy that does “the Buckets” He’s awfully good.
I thought Greg was going to dump me somewhere in the cardboard kayak contest, but still pumped totally about this. 🙂 this is just going to make me have to buy several copies of the book to give to friends, heh.
