Okay, the dog is in the office, tranquilized… or is it the lunatic? Crazy Dog Lady is probably going to get one or more targets here if they’re not lucky.
Or is it Chase R locked in the office? Stay tuned?
Ok, we know know why at least a couple police officers are in the hospital – Bluto shredded them and Crazy Lady joined in. But, “sack-headed”? Either this is just a euphemism, or an oblique description. Chase could have been in the parking lot trying to represent the thief when Bluto showed up and he panicked, so she could be talking about him. Or… do we know of anyone not at the paintball event that wears a weird hat?
Now see, I assumed she meant Paste. I mean he Is the one that she had the original run-in with at the shop. But I’m not sure if the hat he’s always wearing is what she’s talking about sooo… Yeah, your guess is as good as mine.
So, Bluto was attracted by the smell of blood and went after the thief, who cried for help so loud that the police arrived to issue a warrant for disturbing the peace. Bluto went after them and they retreated with Bluto either jumping in through an open window, or chasing after one of the cars. With luck, the thief was taken to the hospital as well, just to keep him from bleeding to death…
Bluto is locked in the office under sedation. The police at the hospital are with the thief. The rest are looking for the lady, who is more dangerous that the dog or the thief.
Crazy Lady doesn’t know that. She says “what got Bluto took by the law”. Bluto may have come back when the police car went around the corner too fast and smashed into a tree.
Well, that explains a lot. Except for lunatic. And the initial dog/thief encounter. And why she has a tranquilizer gun. (Actually, considering past performance, the dog rescue site may have issued one.)
Lunatic is the guy living next door under Paste’s pump park, and probably attacked the arriving police thinking that they’re part of the black helicopter operation that’s after him.
Nice move by Kara, protecting Paste in the second and fourth panels. And by the way, why don’t Bob’s eyes have any whites?
According to Clem; the dog’s locked in the office, the ‘lunatic is hidden away again’, the police that aren’t in the hospital are searching for the robber (AKA sack-headed bloodied-up-dog-hater) and the lady…well there she goes.
Can’t wait ’til Monday.
I obviously give away FAR too much in this strip, knowing how sharp you guys are at guessing where I’m going. As long as you’re entertained by guessing, though… I guess we’re doing well here.
kara must really care about paste to protect him from bullets that sooner or later will becoming from crazy dog ladies gun. wonder if clem is the one who locked up her precious or did chaser get a hold of the evil little thing and is doing this for a quick buck. plus who ever made it easy for crazy dog lady to get that gun is now paying for it.
Foldable stock firing trank darts with the little tassels I bet. It COULD be heavy enough to fire bullets, but. I doubt that is an open carry permit place so Crazy Dog Lady, if that is a bullet firing gun, just added to her sins by carrying it in the open AND bringing it into the store. Charges could be filed for her menacing six including one minor.
Maybe Chase R and the dog both got darted… or they took Chase R thinking he was the dog and right now Chase R is waking up in a holding pen in the local pound… and they put the red QUARRANTINE sign on it for dangerous animal…

The one that isn’t going to be happy is Hubris’ insurance company….
well sincerely i am STILL NOT SURE she is a actual lady…in any sense of the therm.
Pretty sure she’s got two X genes, but other than that…
STILL not sure
can we have a dna proof? because i REALLY don’t want to look for physical ones lol

Between “bloodied up” and “sack-headed” I assumed she was referring to the would be thief.
Yeah, the thief was wearing a paper sack over part of his face.

Clem has some more tangled tales to tell.
Lunatic is the guy living next door under Paste’s pump park, and probably attacked the arriving police thinking that they’re part of the black helicopter operation that’s after him.
Best explanation yet, given Clem said he was “hidden again”.
The lady took the tranquillizer gun from the cops after they doped the dog so they could retrieve the thief?
Probably got it all wrong. Greg is way more bent that that.
Wow! I just realized how fiercely Kara is taking protective stances in front of Paste.

Continue.
We ARE entertained by guessing!!!
Kara’s doing a fine job of herding Paste out of trouble. Part setter, or something…
I absolutely love todays comic. I love Kara protecting paste. And the fear in Bob’s face when the whitest of his disappear is awesome.
I bet Kara could take her down……a woman protecting her charges……you know the drill!
*shakes my head slowly, and backs away from Greg*
Crazy man here … that for shore.
