I’ve done close to that. Was when my body had a fight with a prescribed med and I started to break out in hives. Slowly at first, almost like something was biting me and leaving welts, then it spread… then I had to keep my fingers off it until I got to the doc…
(makes me itch to think of that one, it was epic. Doc said I could sleep for three days or itch for three days, I opted for the first one. He gave me stuff to knock me out so I slept through most of three days of agonizing itching… )
Yep, with a different medication. I had another 3 day pharmaceutically aided nap. No fair if you have no clue before it happens until it happens…. at least that time I skipped plaster body with bandaids and just walked to the ER (two blocks and less chance of being distracted while driving)
