At least two of you guys are waiting for Patreon goodies now, and one of them is a fine caricature. Hold on. Time delays and crazy stuff have kept me from getting stuff together for you. If anyone else wants Patreon goodies, by all means, click on the Patreon button down there, and after the first of the month following your signing up, Patreon releases your info to me for sending out goodies… which I’m not quick to get back to you, but I haven’t botched it all up yet, so far as I can tell.
Truer words were never inked, Greg.
The cloud thickens and lowers and glowers…. ready to squat and dump upon our poor suspicious duo….
So. Greg. How was the weekend?
Has reality checked in yet?
I spent the weekend watching my wife in a 50 ft. boom lift, cutting limbs out of a 90 year old pecan tree in our back yard, and fearing for her life. And fretting that I needed to be working on a couple of deadlines. And dragging pecan limbs to the street… Reality was my boon companion this weekend. No deaths, though, and the boom lift goes back to the rental joint this morning.
Isn’t it always more nerve wracking to be the observer, rather than the one doing the harebrained stunts?
Glad the death count was kept to a minimum this time.
Don’t want to be left a basket case when it’s over (subtle in-joke).
Glad there was no body count. My weekend was a pickup died so had to hike for spouse and the ‘big’ tractor to tow it home. This time I INSISTED I got to drive the tractor. It’s so much less harrowing… That thing HERDS it doesn’t steer. Cheaper than a fair ride. Oh, and picking apples and grapes around hornet pods (if it’s heavily foggy they are very docile if they make pods not papernests) then doing death-to-hornets. Sounds like you had the more exciting weekend, Greg!
yeah and now that’s WHEN THE REAL “FUN” sets in…sorta
