I decided to put the Annie Oakley Buffalo Bill Triathlon into the comic months and months ago, like back in July or August. Now, we’re almost there in Comic Strip Time.
Time is weird in comic strips. I think I’ve said it before… it takes about two seconds, on average, to read a comic strip. That means that, if your storyline has to follow all the characters actions (a conversation, for instance) closely for any reason, it could take a solid month to tell a minute or two worth of ‘real world’ story.
It also means that Dennis the Menace, if we’re to believe that he’s aged no more than about a year and a half over the last 60 years or so, has gotten into enough trouble that his parents should be thinking about having him confined in some sort of high-observation facility where the walls can’t be set on fire under any conceivable circumstances.
And that Hubris has lived about a month or two since I started the website in 2010. You know what that means?

well Greg in all honesty there is still more speed than taking your 7 month to show them finish preparing ONE coffee. so you not in the soap opera category. and unlike other webcomics you don’t get lost between a THOUSAND plot lines. one i follow is so bad about that even the readers complain they having trouble following it. and i admit it’s hard to keep track.
what i love on this one here is the way Nikki is probably crossing EVERYTHING SHE CAN, even piercing if it wouldn’t hurt so much. To then finish in a freaky victory dance lol.
Gotta admit i STILL think Kara should carry a tranquilizer gun under her dress. i am getting that feeling it WILL BE needed…more than once.
but hey, it’s just an event like another right?
Except a certain someone SHOULDN’T even think about going and another should NOT get close to guns at all.
And sincerely this is FAR from the worse date i ever had.
Don’t go there on worst dates, I have some dinghummers to sort someday. Meantime, I hope Paste recorded Nikki’s dance efforts because she’ll probably be viral in ten minutes….
The plot still moves faster than Mary Worth or Apt 3G, so there’s that. Also means you get distracted moving other plot lines along. But we have no complaints.
